The French National Federation of Firefighters supports Kepplair Evolution.

The French National Federation of Firefighters reaffirms its support for Kepplair Evolution and its flagship project: the KEPPLAIR 72, a next-generation multi-role aerial firefighting aircraft being developed from the ATR 72, a leading French and European aviation platform, with entry into service planned as early as 2027. Through a strong and committed video message, the Federation’s President, Colonel Jean-Paul Bosland, emphasized that accelerating climate change and the increasing intensity of wildfires now require rapid, ambitious and sovereign responses. He highlighted the need to sustainably strengthen Europe’s aerial firefighting capabilities, in support of the women and men working on the ground to protect people, property and the environment. The event, at which the Federation was represented by Colonel Jean-Louis Ferrés, Departmental Director of the Fire and Rescue Services of the Gers, also featured the support of Thomas Pesquet, who came to lend his support to this innovative vision of a new generation of European aerial resources dedicated to civil protection. In response to the strong interest generated by the project among firefighters, emergency response professionals, the aerospace community and many engaged citizens, Kepplair Evolution has officially launched its crowdfunding campaign. This initiative gives everyone the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to this industrial, technological and human adventure by becoming a shareholder in the project. Because tomorrow’s challenges require innovative, European and operational solutions today, the French National Federation of Firefighters will continue to support initiatives that contribute to strengthening emergency response capabilities and protecting populations.
